With a week until the end of 2016, I decided to start a blog again. There has been much happening the last month or so that indicates 2017 may very well be a banner year for my Life in Art. It started a few months ago when I was approached by Goodman Community Center to have a show of my work in their gallery. I, of course, accepted. Between October and the end of November there was a flurry of printing, matting, and framing to get ready for the opening reception.
Despite a tenacious respiratory bug the opening reception went off without a hitch on Dec 2nd.
Thanks to this gallery show, I have had more sales in the month of December than all the previous months combined. It's been a good December and generally a pretty good year.
And now here comes 2017, showing much promise. I have decided once again to try out the art fair scene once again. I will be adding an art fair schedule on the website at a later date, once I know in which shows I will be participating.
So here's to an end to the year and the beginning of a hopefully awesome 2017.
I'll keep you posted.
