I love to make art and have ever since I could hold a pencil. For the first half of my adult life I never really took myself serious as an artist, but was constantly doodling. I dabbled, mostly. I didn't take any formal instruction past high school, so I am for the most part self-taught. My passion is relief printmaking, specifically linocut and wood block prints. My artwork is inspired by several things. Dreams, memories, reading and, of course, life experience all fuel my work. I was also an avid comic book reader throughout grade and high school, as well as a fan of old horror films. I would say that my art goes hand in hand with a sense of the narrative. I enjoy telling the story behind the artwork as much as I enjoy producing the art.
